Beach life is good in Altinkum...
Altinkum actually means 'Golden Sands', and the reason why becomes quite obvious when you see its many beaches sitting beautifully at the edge of the turquoise Aegean Sea.
The three largest beaches are named Main Beach, First Beach, and Third Beach. However don't forget to explore the smaller, quieter beaches that are dotted around the coast as well, as these ones can offer breathtaking spots away from the crowds.
Main beach is the most popualr beach thanks to it's great location right in the heart of Altinkum. It's long stretch of sand means you can take a nice stroll, hire a pedalo, or just chill out in the sun.
This beach is great for the whole family as it offers many facilites, shops, and restuarants.
Watersports are avalible here as well as most of the beaches.
First beach is located just a walk away from Main beach in the Tuntas area.
Small but perfectly formed, the third beach is surrounded by quaint restuarants and neighbourhood bars.
Third beach offers a quiter enviroment and more relaxed atmosphere than Main and First Beach. Here the sand is very soft, the water sparkling, and the waves tepid.
There is both a free and local bus service going to and and from Third beach, as well as a couple of beachside restuarants which are both resonablly prived.
Watersports are avalible on most beaches, however Third beach is the most famous for them.
